What are the growing business opportunities and trends in the financial industry that have been brought about by new technological revolutions? How can businesses in Malaysia respond to the changing digital landscape? How are the unbanked being serviced?

AMCHAM invites you to join the fourth program in its Digital Transformation Series: Redefining the Financial Industry Using Technology on Wednesday, 13 November 2019. The program will run from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the AMCHAM Executive Office and will focus on the impact of the digital revolution on financial services and on the topic of digital services for the unbanked.

Speakers include Mr. Shayan Hazir, Head of Global Liquidity & Cash Management, HSBC Malaysia and Ms. Amarjeet Kaur, Chief Projects Officer, Merchantrade Asia Sdn. Bhd.

This event is part of the AMCHAM Digital Transformation Series, a platform through which our members and invited guests can share knowledge and ideas around emerging new technologies and how these impact upon business strategy and operations. Each session takes a detailed look at a specific new technology or the impact that new technologies are having upon a particular industry or function, helping businesses to explore how they can best prepare themselves to harness the opportunities presented by the digital era.

    Having faced some significant challenges in his life, Shayan has since found inspiration and solace in helping others find their true form and purpose. Shayan continues to help people energize and reinvigorate their careers while coaching and mentoring young founders/CEOs with his own brand of authentic leadership, to help provide people with a framework to find fulfillment in their lives.
